As always with LDO excellent quality, nicely anodised frame in a striking colour. Used two kits for tridex and colours closely matched, the ends of the extrusions being anodised really make these frames stand out from the cheaper competition. Incredibly well packaged with individual sleeves for each extrusion. Very happy with the service from onetwo3d as always

I recently purchased the LDO Voron Trident 300 kit expecting premium quality, but I am highly disappointed with the aluminum extrusions included in the box.
For a high-precision CoreXY 3D printer like the Voron Trident, frame squareness is absolutely critical. Unfortunately, the extrusions in this kit fell short in every major aspect:
1. Incorrect cut angles: The profiles were not cut at a perfect 90-degree angle, making it incredibly difficult to achieve a square frame during assembly.
2. Inconsistent lengths: Extrusions that were supposed to be identical actually had noticeable variations in length, introducing unwanted tension into the structure.
3. Twisted profiles: To make matters worse, some of the longest profiles were slightly twisted/torsioned. This completely compromises the alignment of the linear rails and the overall geometry of the printer.
While LDO is known for great electronics and motors, the quality control on these aluminum extrusions is unacceptable for a kit in this price range. If you want a perfectly rigid and square machine without the headache, you are much better off sourcing original MISUMI profiles instead.
